Summer is on the brain..

Guess what I did..
My whole family left to go on a vacation to the Bahamas and I guess I was trying to recreate it in my home.
We went last year and I’m still hoping and praying we can go back. Ahh salty water and sunshine. Miss it.
But now– I get to think of it every time I open the back door! Win win.
How about you? Spontaneously painting any doors lately? Or jumping on a plane for a weekend adventure?
Keep up on our adventures outside of the blog on the facebook page!

Mothers Day Gift Guide
May 1, 2013 By Rachelle Leave a Comment
Mother’s Day is just around the corner and I thought it’d be fun to create a little gift guide of sorts. All though I’m still in the phase of homemade vases and sweet cards made at school- I need to branch out a bit when it comes to getting MY Mom a gift. However, I’m pretty sure if I painted a vase for my Mom and made her a card with my hand print she most definitely would not turn it down.
Would any Mother?
A few of my favorite things– and things I know my Mom would love! I can’t say what she got though, since she’ll read it!
1.) Target Threshold frame with some cute pictures of her grand kids? She’ll melt like butter. Target has some great frames right now if you want to branch out of metals– they have really pretty weathered wood frames, and mirrored versions that I have my eye on!
2.) My favorite summer perfume ever. And, I think it’s still discontinued. But I buy mine on Amazon and I love it.
3.) A jewelry tree dish (also from Target, of course!) To hold all her pretties.
4.) Flowers. Obviously, you can never go wrong with roses.
5.) Speaking of rose…gold. Fossil has some gorgeous rose gold watches and I’ve been swooning over them a time or two. They’re classic and beautiful.
There you go! Hopefully you got a few ideas from it.. Come back tomorrow for your chance to win an AWESOME Mother’s Day gift for yourself! (Unless you feel giving and want to give it to Mom..) See you then!
Bedside Orginization
April 24, 2013 By Rachelle 2 Comments
Oy Oy! Today is all about bedside table organization! Whoohoo!
Okay, maybe you don’t get as excited as I do but, today’s post is near and dear to my heart since many a phone cord & Mac charger have perished thanks to my cord loving cat, Oliver.
When the people at MOS contacted me about my situation I knew it was nothing short of divine intervention since I had just purchased my 6th.. (SIXTH!!!!!) charger.
I tried those little rubber things that are supposed to suction to your table and didn’t have any luck so I was really pumped to see that these were magnetic. And, not hideous. That’s always a bonus!
I got the aluminum, but I think the next one I’ll get will be white for my office (Eeeek! OFFICE! That is being drywalled as we speak!!) since my computer is white and you know how much I love cohesiveness.
There’s also a sticky side on the bottom of it to put it on the side of the table, which is awesome except Jared and I share it so we move it a lot depending on who can get to it first ha ha so we haven’t taken the plunge on sticking it anywhere serious. I might have to get a third for him. Once I get one for my office of course.
The coolest part I think, is that it has 3 little magnetic hooks so you can have more than one thing hooked up to it without searching for fallen cords if you’re hiding them from crazy animals.
They’re really strong too so you don’t have to worry about them moving too much and it being 100% pointless like some other products similar to it out there on the market.
So there you have it. How I stopped the chewing of the cords in the bedroom with a little help from MOS
*This is a sponsored post by MOS Magnetic Organization System, however all thoughts and opinions are mine, and only mine.
5 Things You Never Knew About Me
April 22, 2013 By Rachelle 6 Comments
First things first, have you seen the new blog makeover? There’s still some tweaks to be done but I’m in LOVE with the result. Jessica from Southtown Creative really knows what she’s doing! I also added a Project Gallery and it’s AMAZING. Mostly because I figured out how to do it myself.. haha Check it!
Let’s play a game shall we?
More of a confessional if you will..I ‘spose. And an instagram gallery of sorts.. Whatever.
Five things you didn’t know about me yesterday.. and..go.
My middle name rhymes with my first. Which is silly in itself, and then I went and married a boy with a kooky last name that has a silent C at the front of it and it confuses people. Oh and my name isn’t Rachel. I just blew.your.mind didn’t I? It’s Rachelle.. Like Ra-Shell. Sometimes I still come to Rachel though, I mean..25 years and all. My Mother hates it, she reminds me that it’s not my name and to not go by it. ha, silly woman. Picture us in the dr’s office “Rachel S” I get up because I know they mean me and she says “It’s RA-SHELLLL” Her fault really. Just kidding Mom.
I can’t blow a bubble with gum. No clue. I don’t chew gum anyway, but if I did and entered into a bubble blowing contest I’d surely lose and probably do it wrong, and die.
When I’m concentrating at home, reading or on the computer I pull the neck part of my shirt over my mouth. It’s so weird, it makes Jared laugh because I don’t realize I’m doing it. Nervous twitch maybe? Something from my childhood probably. Therapy helps. Just kidding, we haven’t talked about that.. yet.
I get hives. Literally all day long. If I’m talking to someone, nervous, excited, angry, sad, eating.. My chest is full of them and it makes people uncomfortable. So uhh.. excited for Haven anyone? I’ll be the chick in a turtleneck.. in Hotlanta..in August. Awesome.
I’ve had my nose, tongue, belly button and ears pierced and took all of them out. Well, okay I wear earrings but just in one hole each, I have 3 holes in each ear. Basically I’m full of holes.. Wait..what?
Happy Monday Homies.
Bathroom Makeover Complete (and a discount code!)
April 17, 2013 By Rachelle 10 Comments
We’ve been working on it for a while, and when I started our mini makeover I thought real hard about things that I wanted the bathroom to be.
Clean.
Smells good.
Lots of whites, splash of color.
Something my husband would love, and something my kids will feel comfortable in. Being that it’s our only working bathroom at the moment
Um, and cheap because home girl is on a budget. While I’d love to have a whole new bathroom with a deeper (non-ivory) tub and more storage..this is what I’ve got. And Mama’s gotta work with what she has! I fully believe that if you have clean spaces that make you feel happy and smell delicious then you find yourself wishing less for expensive massive changes, and being happy with the spaces you’re already in.
So not only did it get a full paint overhaul… it got an Honest overhaul as well.
The people at The Honest Company sent me over some products to try and I’m pretty impressed. First of all, they’re all natural, non-toxic, and eco-friendly. Boom! Awesome.
Second, their packaging is really pretty and I’m a sucker for good packaging. Especially the hand soap and hand sanitizer. Since they’re out all the time it’s nice to have something that isn’t in ugly bright colors that don’t go with my schhheeme, which I might add, I’ve worked hard to perfect ha!
Third.. Grapefruit scent and eucalyptus mint scent for cleaners. Uh, YES. I’m so over the nasty chemical scent that burns your eyes for the next three hours after cleaning.
They have a free cleaning trial which is pretty neat, and a diaper trial for you new Moms with the itty bitty babes still in diapers!
Okay, now let’s be honest here (har har) I know what people are thinking, “She was sent those products of course she’s saying she likes them” True, you’ll see a lot of blogs that do that. But, you and I both know that I’m very open about what I do and don’t like. When Jared and I were looking at the website and picking out things he even told me to order some more because he liked the sound of it. Once it came and he saw that the kids could actually help me clean without worrying we’ll burn their skin off? Golden. I’m really excited to try more, one that I’m eye-balling right now is the fruit and veggie cleaner and the sunblock since Lily is horribly allergic to a lot of sunblocks out there. Not to mention it’s the same price, if not less than many of the other cleaning products out there! Hello..! Why wouldn’t you love it?
Rant over.
Plus, it’s a free trial.. Why not? Right? Ha!
You can also sign up for their email newsletter which has some pretty cool info in it. They’re also on twitter, facebook, and instagram so you can keep in touch with them– heck they even have a blog!
I’ve got a discount code for you to do a little shopping today.. Woohoo!
Get $10 off a $40 purchase at The Honest Company using code
Pollinate10off40.
(Limited to first-time customers and one use per customer. Expires April 26, 2013.)
Enjoy! I’m off to enjoy our new (clean) bathroom!

It Works info {Plus a special!}
April 10, 2013 By Rachelle 3 Comments
I’ve shared a little bit here and there on facebook, instagram and previous blog posts but I figured it deserved a post in it’s own.
Recently I decided to jump the gun and sign up to be a distributor for It Works! Global.
It’s kind of amazing guys, and you know I don’t lie and throw rainbows all over the place. It all started when a friend of Jared’s wife (wait, that doesn’t sound right ha) was selling it and you know how it goes, you want to try it.. see what it’s all about. So I did.
Whoa.
Not only did it do crazy weird things to my mom-gut, it made me feel a lot better. So I poked around a bit, bought some more. Did way too much shopping through her site and she said Um.. why the hell aren’t you selling this too if you like it so much?
Well.. I don’t know. Maybe I should.
So I did. And it’s been insane. It’s not just about wraps or gettin’ skinny even though that’s kind of a huge bonus of it. But it’s about being healthy.. something that I’ve been really striving for as of late. And, let me tell you I’ve NEVER been one to do the whole network marketing or sell things like Scentsy and Thirty One. I’ve been to parties and love the products but eh.. it wasn’t for me.
Something about this one is different.. Maybe I use it more? I’m not sure, but it seemed different going into. And, I swear it wasn’t the $10,000 bonus.. hahaha but that helps.
The extra income from parties, and sales helped me stay home with Chloe, which is awesome.
The greens help me feel BETTER and slowly kick my pop habit.. Ahh, it’s hard.
The facials are killin’ it for my face. It hasn’t felt this smooth in.. well ever.
And, I’m breaking out of my shell and actually having parties and NOT being that quiet girl that everyone always says I am. (I’m not to my friends.. but you know how it goes) It’s just been amazing.
Sales pitch over.
;-P
If you’re interested in hearing a little more about the wraps, greens, fat fighters.. or basically ANYTHING in the shop I’d love to tell you more about it.
I want to give a little somthin’ somthin’ away to my followers though, so this week only I’m going to be selling wraps and facials at a discount. You can get a wrap for 25.00 Shipped.. a Facial for 20.00 Shipped or a wrap and a facial for 40.00 Shipped.
Errrybody loves free shipping.
If you’re still stumped on what to get Mom for Mothers day, this is it! Put the facial in a gift bag with a thing of bubble bath, magazine and a candle? Genius. She’ll thank you.
Make sure to email me at wrapwithrachelle@gmail.com and I’ll send it out today! I’ve been going to the post office every day sending wraps to California, Canada, New York, Illinois, EVERYWHERE. And, they’re loving them. I’d love to send you some love too.. Pst. There’s also some other goodies that will make it’s way into your package.. Because I love my readers.
Box Tops for Education Collector.. {A tutorial}
April 8, 2013 By Rachelle 4 Comments
If there’s anything you should know about me it’s this.
I like EASY projects. Think– 10 minutes top, minus drying time I suppose. Some might call that lazy, I call it productive.
So our school is big about box top labels (is there a school that isn’t big on them?) Since one of my daughters goes to a uniform school, they have competitions for box tops and whichever class has the most gets a non uniform day (or pizza party, hot choc party, etc) Naturally we save them up for a long time and when the competitions come around, we dominate. No big deal. Even if that means only turning them in once or twice a year, we turn in TONS.
To be fair, the other daughter gets to turn in box tops too, but she doesn’t get as excited, I can slide by with just turning in a baggie full.
Until next year.. Tear!
I’m getting off track, as you may know– that happens a lot. So I bought this glass jar to keep the box tops contained so we could try and stay away from plastic bag after plastic bag of them. But I wanted to spiff it up a bit.
I bought: 1 glass jar from Hobby Lobby, with a 40% off coupon, a can of spray paint on sale 30% off and stickers 50% off. Did I mention I’m also cheap?
I put the foam stickers on the jar, this is kind of self explanatory but what kind of tutorial giver would I be if I just said “do the obvious, you’re done, you’re welcome”
Glorious! I love it. The girls love it. It’s the simple things that matter..
Happy Monday!
Feature Yourself Friday
April 4, 2013 By Rachelle 9 Comments
It’s Friday already!?
This week literally flew by…. flew.by.
This was my first week working from home and it was nothing short of crazy..amazing..fun..happy..and BUSY. I’m sure Jared assumes I’m sitting at home eating bon-bons but it’s been actually appointment after appointment and it’s spring break so I’m trying to keep a few things “fun” for the girls since we didn’t get to go anywhere this year.. Whomp whomp.
A PUPPY TEAR. I die.
I have managed to get a few projects done and work a little more on the basement! I’m so excited to share it with you, however tonight is YOUR night to shine.
Let’s do it people!
