These bar stools have been through so much while living in this house. Poor things.
They’ve been white. Silver. Wood. Now? Blue and white. Yes……. Success.
You can Google how to tape/paint chevron and get 1000 different ways. I just measured a grid and taped as straight as I could.
Slap some paint on ‘er, stain the edges a bit and she’s done!
How about you? Any recent furniture transformations lately?

Thanks for sharing and inspiring other people. I like the new bar stools – and the creative use of the chevron style. We changed a plain Ikea coffee table to a mosaic coffee table top – Photos and directions here – http://judifoxblog.blogspot.de/2012/07/ikea-coffee-table-before-and-after.html
Not a one! Between the baby and figuring out work stuff, I haven’t had a minute of time. I love these, though, and have a few small projects planned for before my dad’s arrival. Whew.
I just recently did my bar stools as well using one of the amazing grain sack transfers from the Graphics Fairy! Bar stools are the perfect piece of furniture to morph with your decor styles. And sometimes that means multiple lives.
These are gorgeous! Great job! I am all about chevron these days, too!
I love a good furniture transformation…We just transformed a changing table (which had previously been a vanity) into a sweet desk! (http://justagirlandherblog.com/the-evolution-of-the-vanity/)
Thanks for sharing your cool transformation!
